To people who say “look past disabilities”.

Do you mean that the existence of my disability is not worth being recognized and accepted?
Should I wear a mask next time you see me? I’m sure that will hide my disabilities and no effort from you is required.
But no, I won’t wear a mask to live in the shadow of the privileges.
I’ll just look past your brown hair then. Because obviously it’s a terrible terrible thing to have brown hair and I’m doing you a favor by “looking past” it and accepting you anyway.
